The screenwriters of Avengers: Infinity War, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, had the difficult task of bringing all the disparate worlds of the MCU together, introducing Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to Doctor Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy, all while telling the story of Thanos’ quest to retrieve all six Infinity Stones. By keeping the...

The deaths at the end of Infinity War were carefully chosen to allow the next movie to refocus the story on the Avengers’ original line-up. In Endgame, Tony Stark and Steve Rogers reconcile their differences and reteam with Nat, Thor, Bruce, and Clint to work toward the common goal of bringing everybody back. Part of what made Endgame feel like a h...

Every MCU movie has a battle sequence in its third act. When it comes to downer endings in blockbuster cinema, The Empire Strikes Back reigns supreme. 2. Both films are incredible, however after rewatching both many times over, I definitely believe Infinity War is far better than Endgame, for the following reasons: Thanos is a much better villain in IW.

  3. Jul 12, 2020 · Avengers: Endgame is a symphony, playing the grief of the failed heroes at the beginning, the jaunty time heist, and the climactic crash of the final battle, while Infinity War is the mad dash to a thrilling conclusion - it's a brilliant film, but it has less variation than its direct sequel.

  4. Jul 5, 2024 · Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame were cultural phenomenons at the time of release. Though they worked best as a pair, their stories were very distinct, with Infinity War being more a Thanos story than anything else.

  5. Infinity War is probably a better film overall; I think what they achieved with Thanos in terms of character construction, design, Brolin’s performance genuinely set a new standard. Endgame is a big party in honour of the MCU.
