'House of Lies' with Don Cheadle is such an underrated series! I remembered watching it back when it was still airing on Showtime, and I was rewatching it the other day and I think it might be my favourite project that features Don Cheadle in it!
No, don't watch House of Lies. Show is pretty bad. Instead watch Silicon Valley, Fresh off the Boat, Black-ish, Masters of None or the amazingly laugh out loud riot Transparent. First season is good afterwards it really falls off.
The first handful of episodes are pretty cheesy and obnoxious and the show makes itself to seem smarter than it is. As it keeps going, it seems to get much better I thought. The latter handful of episodes are a good deal darker and expand on the major characters (Marty and Jeannie) a decent bit.
