Cheadle's chemistry with Kristen Bell is one of the main reasons to check this show out, it was an odd pairing I never would've guessed would happen. But I also find that Cheadle's character; Marty Khan isn't given enough credit for being one of the most interesting characters I've seen on TV but is also one of the biggest a**holes I've ever seen lol! 😂
The show can still be cheesy or think it's more clever than it is, but it's still pretty good in the end. The acting is excellent and Don Cheadle can pull out the big guns when he needs to (Kristen Bell does very nicely too). Biggest complaint is just how weak the two supporting comic relief characters are.
It gets a little formulaic and you'll see how but over all its decent content and a fun watch. Cast is amazing and chemistry is amazing. No, don't watch House of Lies. Show is pretty bad. Instead watch Silicon Valley, Fresh off the Boat, Black-ish, Masters of None or the amazingly laugh out loud riot Transparent.
