I'm pretty sure that this anime is a vast improvement over its manga, I believe that season shortened down something like 200 manga chapters (and it still felt slow enough to where I watched the last episodes on 1.5 speed), was it worth it? Barely. I'm glad it exists though.

It's a very easy show to watch and thus it suits Netflix's binge model. It's nothing amazing but it executes its premise solidly and the pace is fast. I remember reading a good bit of the manga and it already got that far by episode 3.
I recommend the first episode. It’s pretty bad. You will know if you like it or not right away. I disagree on the first episode thing; the first two or three episodes actually set it up to be a fairly decent horror/thriller show, and then it takes a huge nosedive after that into mediocre action.
