I'm currently reading Journey Under the Midnight Sun (白夜行 ) a japanese crime novel by Keigo Higashino. It's not my first novel by Higashino, but this one felt different enough that I felt the urge to post to see if others have the same reaction.
Aug 1, 1999 · Higashino Keigo is, hands-down, one of the best Japanese crime writers I've read. This book is long - longer than most crime fiction ought to be -- and so the first half was a bit diffuse, as the many relevant strands were being woven.
