Halo 4 has a really good story (in my opinion) and Halo 5's campaign is fun to play, even if the story is poor. They're worth playing, I think, but unless you can get Halo 5 on sale, it might not be worth picking up for 1 playthrough.
Halo 4 is a mixed bag. The multiplayer is great, but the campain is horrible. If you're a big Halo fan, I'd still play it though.
