Apr 12, 2017 · Greg Rucka has announced that Issue #25 will be his last as the writer of DC Comics' Wonder Woman series.
Rucka’s original run is the best Wonder Woman run, IMO, followed very closely by Simone’s run, Perez’s run, and Rucka’s second run (in no particular order). I really can't wait to get to the original run (which I haven't read), but the Rebirth run got me really into Diana.
Wonder Woman has a serious dearth of pretty much universally acclaimed modern comic runs, so when a Rucka comes around and kicks some literary ass, it's quite appreciated. If you like it, try out Lazarus. A standalone comic that's a current Rucka ongoing that's absolutely stellar.
