Jun 27, 2018 · Glen Garioch 12 Years Old (48%, OB, 2017) Nose: Slightly farm-y with some nice graininess, accompanied by dried grass and tobacco. It has a touch of pickled lemon peel, as well as some softer orange notes, before progressing nicely into notes of apricots and peaches, and caramel.

12 Years Old. ABV 48% | Cask: Bourbon and Sherry. The perfect accompaniment to Parmigiano-Reggiano, our 12 Years Old binds the dryness of the cheese, which in return provides a platform for the malt’s sweet fruitiness and enhances its clean barley notes.
This single malt from Glen Garioch spent 12 years maturing between 2011 and 2024, including a six-month finish in a first-fill oloroso sherry quarter cask. The cask was opened by James Eadie, independently releasing a total of 175 cask-strength bottles.
