I like Ghostbusters II, ironically. I'll be the first to admit that it's not as good as the first one, but I still have a legitimate good time whenever I put it on.

I think Ghostbusters 2 is a good movie that happens to be in a different genre than the original. It's like after the cartoon, they removed the grit from the sequel. To my mind, the late 80s had a bunch of movies that were just "nicer", more urbane, even down to the cinematography.
