I like Ghostbusters II, ironically. I'll be the first to admit that it's not as good as the first one, but I still have a legitimate good time whenever I put it on.
ghostbusters 2 aired a lot on network television after it released allowing me to see it first. the second movie was more geared towards kids as i was already a huge fan of the cartoon. to this day the first movie just feels less animated to me.

- Ghostbusters (1984) IMDb Score: 7.8/10. It’s hard to beat the original, and in the case of Ghostbusters, that couldn’t be truer. Assembling a cast filled with hilarious talent, the original Ghostbusters movie was lightning in a bottle.

Mar 22, 2024 · Ghostbusters II is underrated and luckily remains warm, charming, and very entertaining, even decades later. The quibbles with its originality or even some of the cast performances are valid, but there is still more good than bad when it comes to the original Ghostbusters sequel.
