I like Ghostbusters II, ironically. I'll be the first to admit that it's not as good as the first one, but I still have a legitimate good time whenever I put it on.
Jul 11, 2021 · I know Ghostbusters 2 isn't the most beloved film, but it's actually much better than you remember.
Bottom line: with Murray on fire and enough clever dialogue to rival its predecessor, Ghostbusters II is good enough to put post-milennial comedy to shame.
All your complaints about GB2 are valid - probably the most egregious case of an offscreen reset button between a movie and sequel. That said, I still think it's a pretty funny and satisfying sequel overall.

Otherwise known as Ghostbusters: Answer The Call, Paul Feig's all-female reboot of Ghostbusters- as part of a reinvigoration of the IP that would also have seen a Chris Pratt/Channing Tatum-led alt-team movie - was never a bad idea. The second installment of Sony's modern relaunch, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is a bit of an enjoyable mess. In reality, it's still a fun caper, with a great villain in Vigo The Carpathian who managed to achieve iconic movie status despite barely even moving in his s...
Rather than a reboot or a direct sequel that follows the original Ghostbusters team, Jason Reitman made something that both continued their story and played into the affection in which the Ghostbusters universe is still held. Ghostbusters: Afterlifeis a legacy movie with a look to the future, but it crucially proves how well it knows its past while...

Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson are amazing, but Sigourney Weaver, Rick Moranis, and Annie Potts have ...
Ghostbusters II Review. The boy are back in town - they never went away, but were derided as frauds, despite saving the world, and handed a bill for damages. Thankfully, another threat to...

Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Rick Moranis, Dan Aykroyd and the gang return for his silly sequel that lacks the class and excellent energy of the original. Unfortunately Ghostbusters II doesn't deliver like it's predecessor and even the humour isn't as funny as the original so overall a complete flop. Read More.
