   GameMaker. I have a feeling that this engine is past its prime, and I've always heard it's a real pain to use for bigger projects and turn-based games, and that it doesn't handle lots of UI well.    I do not suggest SRPG Studio it is very limited and RPG Maker software is limited to JRPG only. I Suggest to use the Game Maker Studio 2, instead to use Unity or Unreal, if you want to develop a 2D game for now.
