While I loved both, Friends was much better IMO at situational comedy. Fresh prince was probably more relatable and the story was deeper, but Friends was great at making goofy humour out of nowhere. Anyway, I think the qualities that make any sitcom great are unique to it, so its hard to compare sitcoms using the same metric
