  2. Nov 24, 1999 · The plot of “Flawless” is too busy and sometimes strays into fictional hinterlands; Rusty’s posse of drag friends has a way of turning up on cue, like the factory workers in “Carmen.” A subplot about hidden drug money is a creaky distraction.

  3. The real gem in the movie is the way it explains itself, all in good timing - it's nice to see a movie that still makes its viewers guessing. Demi Moore and Michael Caine did a good job, and so is the supporting characters, played by Lambert Wilson and Joss Ackland.

  4. FLAWLESS is a perfectly fine caper film that's undermined by the framing device and moral lesson surrounding it. Moore's clumsy old-age make-up is distracting, and the film's ultimate message feels tacked on and superfluous.

  5. Flawless sports a thoroughly decent cast - Michael Caine is wonderfully classy as the ambiguous and charming Hobbs. Moore is better than she's been in a very long time, and Lambert Wilson is equally sharp as an internal investigator. The film boasts at least one lovely switcheroo plot twist.

  6. Mar 28, 2008 · Flawless is a clever diamond-heist thriller set in swinging 1960s London. Demi Moore plays Laura Quinn, a bright, driven, and beautiful executive at the London Diamond Corporation who finds herself frustrated by a glass ceiling after years of faithful employment, as man after man is promoted ahead of her despite her greater experience.

  7. Review by Faethor Ferenczy ★★★. Nothing at all wrong with the acting and I thought Michael Caines performance was very good. The story was OK and the premise, I thought was clever and had potential. It never quite lived up to that potential though.
