The server used her best “customer service voice” when we complained about the cold cheese (we didn’t bother with the other issues due to her attitude) and we paid the bill and left. So if you want cold food in a pretty sad place go for it

Mar 12, 2015 · Wapping isn’t short of the odd riverside atmospheric pub but Captain Kidd has to be ine of the best. Approached along a cobblestoned street due west of Wapping station it soon reveals a large yet cosy wooden interior with enough of a breeze to ensure comfort on the hottest of June enjoying lunch whilst watching the passenger craft pass by.
Friendly staff and a nice warm, cosy place for a grey and cold Sunday. We got lucky and managed to get a walk in- but we will definitely book several days in advance in future. Only slight downside is that some tables aren’t the easiest to eat from, but I’m sure if you book in advance you could make sure you get a good one.
