Give me advice on visiting Dyker Heights. Hi neighbors! My family will be visiting from out of state and there will be approx 10 of us, including 5 kids under 11, attempting to visit and view the lights in Dyker Heights next week. Despite living in the city almost ten years, I’ve never been to Dyker Heights nor seen the lights.

Jun 8, 2024 · Dyker Heights is overall a safe and family-friendly neighborhood. It is mostly residential but is great for families to visit during the holidays when houses are beautifully decorated for Christmas.
Highly recommend. Greater NYC has several neighborhoods that get festive at the holidays, but none more so than Dyker Heights. It's a lovely destination at the south end of Brooklyn, just above Coney Island, and promises ample elaborate displays.
