Overall, Dyker Heights is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. 13th avenue (Dyker Heights Blvd) is the main thoroughfare and the only street with businesses. These businesses are catered to the residents- including upscale grocery stores and restaraunts- as well as butchers and pharmacies.
