“Dream Warriors” benefited from Nancy coming back, in my opinion. There are tie-ins to both of the previous movies that you won’t get unless you watch all three. I recommend doing at least that much.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors is the third film in the Nightmare on Elm Street series, released in 1987. Freddy is still plaguing the dreams of the teens of Springwood. Their condition is thought to be psychological, and several of them have been placed in a psychiatric hospital.
Dream Warriors are the collection of Springwood Children from Elm Street who possess great metaphysical dream strength each with their own unique ability. For some of them, because of their powers, they prove to be a challenge for Freddy Krueger , who nonetheless managed to kill them.
