Arvind wrote almost all of the Dirk Gently comics himself, (Chris Ryall did the first story, the interconnectedness of all kings, and I believe Landis wrote only one short vignette about Friedkin) and in Salmon of Doubt particularly he did a great job at portraying all of the season 1 characters.
