   When did de la Salle College become a school?

   • Since then the De La Salle schools have established an excellent reputation in educational standards. Archbishop John Charles McQuaid invited the Provincial of the De La Salle Order to establish schools in Churchtown in the early 1950’s. De La Salle College Churchtown was officially opened in 1952 and moved to its present site in 1957.
