  3. It's similar to something I've often said when discussing films that are, from most objective standpoints, bad: a film can be good or bad but it can't be boring. The Room is a great movie because it's fascinating to watch.

  4. In short... I don't think you have to go out of your way to watch bad movies, especially if you watch a lot of movies. Not only that, but even supposedly good movies will be bad so you can't really avoid them. But you can learn things or get ideas even from otherwise bad movies.
