  3. Yes, it is true that Colfes is more selective nowadays. For example all Colfes junior students needs to take 11+ exam to get into the senior Colfes. But that doesnt mean it is better school now and it wasnt before.

  4. The average year group has between 120 to 130, with class sizes of approximately 24 pupils. A third of any year group will be made up of pupils from Colfe’s Junior School. Candidates are required to spend a full school day at Colfe’s. The morning will consist of assessments in English and Mathematics and a group interview.

  8. Introduction. Colfe’s School is a co-educational independent day school in Horn Park in the London Borough of Greenwich. It is one of the oldest schools in London. Originally established by John Glyn in 1574, Colfe’s School was re-founded in 1652 by the Reverend Abraham Colfe, Vicar of Lewisham. It became fully co-educational in 1999.
