Of the five books you cite, I recognize only two as great spy novels, “Baskerville” and “Red Sparrow.” I abhor Agatha Christie, “Silence of the Lambs” is horror not espionage fiction, and the “Da Vinci Code,” though popular and a gripping thriller, is just that, not a spy novel.
