From my googling, it looks like it's a Ryanair subsidiary that covers Eastern Europe. I love travel but am a nervous flyer and generally hate flying Ryanair but I have to go to Budapest for a family function and Buzz is the only carrier flying direct from Dublin. Any experiences, anyone?!

Mar 14, 2019 · Ryanair Sun – a standalone business unit of the Ryanair Group – will be rebranded as Buzz this autumn. Ryanair acquired the Buzz brand in 2003 when it bought a rival low-cost carrier operating with that name from KLM UK. It operated from Stansted but was closed down in 2004.
