  2. Bone absolutely rewards reading as an adult. I was an adult when I was introduced to Bone. I love it. The writer does a great job building a world within which this story resides and the emotion - humour and love and fear - all arise from a well-written story with great characters.

  4. The Bones are a lot like older comic strip characters, like comic strip Disney characters, Lil Abner characters, and old Pogo. I’ll recommend older Pogo too, I think you’ll see some of what inspired Jeff Smith.
