Blood vengeance sucked total balls, but much of that was due to Alisa and Xiaoyu being very boring and airheaded protagonists. I know the writing sucks, but a sequel with Asuka and Lili would at least be worth a watch for those two characters alone.

While Blood Vengeance isn’t entirely canon, it did start Xiaoyu’s down to earth characterization that would be used in subsequent games and the Bloodline anime. I'll also admit that it's really cool Xiaoyu got her own movie.
