- Align and Isolate. The dangerous person aligns themselves with your friends and family who are your people. Then they share with their new acquaintances a concern about you in an effort to help you.
- Encourage and Alarm. A common tool is alcohol however, any addictive substance can be substituted such as prescription drugs, video games, POT, or even spending money.
- Confront and Avoid. There is no reciprocal agreement for confrontation. If the dangerous person confronts you, even if it is done improperly and mixed with abusive threats, you must receive it as their show of love to you.
- Illuminate and Confuse. Dangerous people have a sixth sense about them. They can quickly assess a person for their vulnerabilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Concealed true intentions. Be leery of someone who encourages others to share first all the time. This is a way of learning their preys intentions and then adopting it as their own.
- Effortless work. This deceptive person takes credit for the work of others. They gather information, projects, and insights from others and place their name at the top of the list.
- Unnecessary drama. The easiest sleight of hand is to create an irresistible proposal or unnecessary drama. This forces the other person to come to the deceiver and address the issue.
- Withholding instruction. One of the ways to keep a person dependent is to teach a small amount of information but withhold valuable knowledge so they will fail without the schemer.
