- 3,400 VOTES. A Silent Voice. One of the really cool things about the dub of A Silent Voice is that the protagonist, a deaf girl named Shoko Nishimiya, is played by a deaf actress named Lexi Cowden.
- 2,538 VOTES. Your Name. Whether you saw the dub version or the sub version, Your Name was a sensation. Mitsuha and Taki are two totally different people living totally different lives - Mitsuha is a girl living in a rural area steeped in tradition, while Taki is a boy living in a bustling city.
- 2,787 VOTES. Toradora! J.C. Staff. The only problem with the Toradora dub is that you won't be able to hear Taiga calling anyone a baka - you'll have to settle for English insults.
- 3,336 VOTES. Fruits Basket. Fruits Basket follows Tohru Honda, a teenage girl who becomes embroiled in the affairs of the mysterious Sohma family.
- Full Metal Panic Fumoffu. I would not recommend watching this show without having seen Full Metal Panic season 1 and season 2… because it’s a spinoff series that is nothing to relate to its military/action-packed Mecha predecessors.
- Gamers. Similar to Masamune Ku No Revenge Gamers was released in the year 2017. It’s a “stand-out” series of rom-coms. In the end, it focuses on gaming culture with gaming references.
- Maid Sama. The story begins “serious” and focuses on Misaki Ayuzawa, who is a student council president during the day, and a maid at night at a cafe for maids.
- Haganai I Don’t Have Many Friends. In case you’re not able to tell that this is a sexual harem. It’s not just a rom-com series but in general. If you don’t mind the series, then you’ll get to know Haganai quickly.
- Toradora. It would be illegal for Toradora! didn’t make it to the top five at least. One of the best anime couples is Taiga Aisaka and Ryuuji Takasu. This romantic comedy was made by JC Staff in 2008, and the actors don’t stay in their usual roles.
- My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU (Oregairu) Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru also switched animation studios, but its amazing story didn’t change.
- Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! (Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!) This Rom Com Anime Series is about Yuuta Togashi suffered from chuunibyou while he was in middle school.
- Lovely Complex. Lovely Complex has been around for more than 15 years, but it is still one of the best examples of shoujo anime. It’s not a new plot twist that two people fall in love with each other after their crushes end up with each other, but it works well here.
