May 16, 2024 · As Liverpool’s stadium nears the end of its latest expansion, the regeneration of the area surrounding it is the focus of an exciting £4 million scheme.

The partnership has been formed with the aim of creating an attractive environment in Anfield. The proposals include the expansion of Anfield Stadium, new and refurbished housing and the development of a new public square including commercial and retail premises and a revitalised high street.

Next season the Main Stand at our iconic Stadium will be one of the largest all seater single stand’s in European football and a state-of-the-art facility for fans to see the Reds play. We're adding around 8,500 seats - taking the overall capacity to around 54,000 and protecting the special Anfield atmosphere.
