You might say the timing was serendipitous, considering we were about to be locked away for months with nothing better to do than launch countless artistic projects and spend our tax refunds on music gear and 10,000 piece puzzles.

The tapered neck heel really provides the player with comfortable fingerboard access, all the way up to the highest frets. The body is contoured at the neck joint and below it to allow room for your hand in all the right positions. It’s something you have to experience to understand the full benefit of this new design.
The upper bout on the rear of the guitar is curved, similar to a Stratocaster, to provide you with a comfortable “belly carve.” It’s one of the things that makes a Strat comfortable to play, especially when sitting.
Chrome-plated brass bridge saddles were chosen for that great classic Tele sound and sustain. The mellower sound of brass balances out the brighter sound of the ash body and the bone nut perfectly. Jan 9, 2020 · If anything, the Tele seems to wear its Ultra dress a little more stylishly. It’s not the thickest vintage-y voice we’ve heard and the bridge has plenty of treble slice until you back off the tone a little (don’t forget it’s a no-load type, so effectively with the control fully up it’s bypassed for maximum high-end).

Oct 19, 2021 · For what I'm playing these days, it's a better fit, although the Elite could do it too. That said, the Elite's are great, but not worlds better than the Professionals or Pro 2s. I actually like the Pros better due to the relatively traditional design and sound, but it's a matter of preference.
C vs D shape neck and v mod vs noiseless pickups; the tummy carve is in both but the ultra also goes deep in the neck pocket. More traditional “looking” colors on the Ultra though it’s more modern.
