   Views are the most important thing for making money. You want as many views as possible. To get these, you need to have engaging content so that YouTube sends it out to lots of people. If you're creating 10 minute videos, but people are only watching 2 minutes, you're never going to make it.

   Any number of things. And all of them are easier and quicker to make money with than YouTube. And again, that's not to say YouTube isn't worth it. It totally is. (I say that as someone with 2 monetized channels and one in progress.) But if your FOCUS is on money? No. Focus elsewhere.

   • Finding something worth watching on youtube today is almost impossible. It's all drama and reaction content. Nothing of real value unless you deep dive to look for it.    • Also, yes. But it really freakin' hard. If you are just making videos because you want to make videos, it's most definitely worth it. If you are making videos to make money, there are WAY more things that could make more money faster. Yes it is still a viable option, but do it for your own pleasure and not to make money.

   • In conclusion: Most of you aren't going to "Make It" on YouTube, that's just a plain fact.    Should I go live on YouTube?

   • A lot of people didn't know going live on YouTube would help them to gain authority in YouTube's eyes which in turn will help your videos gain top ranking in the search results. I never use the Youtube's native live tool to go live on Youtube.

Which is funny, because unless your subscriptions are public there, you can’t even see who is subscribed to you or watching your videos. Will I keep going? Yes. Editing — is not for the weak, but it’s not entirely difficult either.
