The Alcazaba is really worth a visit. The neighborhood below is also beautiful and has a somewhat Arabic feel with many colored houses with nice facades. Furthermore, the Cathedral of Almería is beautiful with a good audio tour (also in Dutch). The city has nice unexpected squares and a good tapas bar.
