   Abyss is still my favorite game of all time and probably always will be. I may have only played the mediocre 3DS port, but I loved every second of it! Jade is the best character in the series and Luke is by far one of the most tragic heros the series and any game ever has produced.

When many gamers of a certain age (i.e. mine) hear or read the word "Abyss" in the context of a game, the first image that comes to mind is the map of planes of existence from the old AD&D Dungeon Master's Guide.

   It's a very solid 7.5/10 game for me. Although the Kraken expansion is almost necessary (simmilar case to Lords of Waterdeep). Just throw away the loot module out the window and you are golden. Overall it's a very good looking gateway that almost everyone seems to like. Sure, not all everyonbe is "OMG let's play it again!"
