    Played by Danika Yarosh The bubbly high schooler and pulse of the 2011 Iowa City West volleyball team, Found died in a moped accident just a few weeks before the season started. More than seven years after the accident, Found’s impact still resonates today.

    Played by Helen Hunt The legendary high school volleyball coach led Iowa City West from 1987-2000 and 2005-2013. After Found’s death, Bresnahan guided the Trojans to a state championship in 2011 and was named PrepVolleyball.com’s national coach of the year that season. She racked up 671 career wins in nearly 30 years of coaching.

    Played by William Hurt Ernie lost both his daughter, Caroline, and wife, Ellyn, in a span of two weeks. Ellyn died of pancreatic cancer just 12 days after Caroline’s accident, forcing Ernie to remain strong through not one, but two tragedies. Ernie retired in January 2017 after a 30-year career as a spinal surgeon.
