The 13th Warrior: Many did not like it at the time of its release. I believe it is an excellent adaptation of Beowulf, with a dark and intense tone that develops perfectly throughout. What do you think?
I think it's far better than people make to out to be. I don't know how it was marketed on release but it's a solid movie about Vikings and their Muslim companion fighting what people believe to be mythical beasts. The music, production and cinematography are all top notch and all the main cast are solid.
