Anything is worth your time if you want to have a valid opinion on it and want to know exactly why something is bad. That said, Under The Dome the show was absolutely horrible. Suffered from CBS primetime syndrome, I think. The book is a pretty solid late King novel.
It was much better than I expected, and not as typical as I expected (considering it's network TV). I've read the book, and I'm annoyed by a few changes, but it's very promising so far. That being said, I always would prefer a show like this to be on HBO or something. To me, definitely worth it.

When reading the book I pictured someone like John Goodman or maybe Stacy Keach playing,but Norris really delivers the goods. I've always liked Mike Vogel as an actor and I like him as Barbie. It's a good show.
Most of the terrible reviews here are basically for season three, which ultimately ruined the show for good, but few mention that season one was actually good, very good! If it had been just a one-season series it would've been up there with the best of them.
