The Voices starring Ryan Reynolds. Movie Help. Just finished watching this cracking comedy horror film with Ryan Reynolds. Great film, he plays a probably schizophrenic but well intentioned man who’s pet cat and dog talk to him.
I personally found it to be really good, and it balanced its horror and drama really well. Ryan Reynolds also turns in a fucking phenomenal performance in my opinon. What do you all think?
Very surprising film, I had no idea Ryan Reynolds had this kind of performance in him. I highly recommend listening to the Q&A Podcast interview with Michael R. Perry, who wrote the film. He gives some great insights into Jerry's behavior and how the film switches perspective to show how his mind works.
A truly underrated film. It has a brilliant performance from Ryan Reynolds, in a role that is pretty unusual for him, and allows him to get out of his typical action stereotype, as he really is a great comedic and dramatic actor, when paired with the right script.
