Oct 9, 2019 · The Voices, a 2014 dark comedy film, isn’t the most relatable film for people who struggle with schizophrenia but it does astoundingly well at explaining the numerous emotions people with not only schizophrenia but mental illness go through.
One of my favorite things about that movie is the fact that Ryan voices both the pets. I really enjoyed the voice acting. Marjane Satrapi did a fantastic job especially with the tone throughout the movie.
Film Review Horror comedy is not an easy genre-mishmash to pull off, although when it’s done right (Shaun of the Dead, The Faculty), it’s usually brilliant. Unfortunately, The Voices doesn’t quite manage it.
