Little while into the movie, he accidently kills someone, and hears her voice. Drama ensues. I personally found it to be really good, and it balanced its horror and drama really well.
Ryan Reynolds’ performance in this movie as Jerry is worth the watch alone. The way he manages to make a character that in any other movie would be a repulsive monster seem so genuinely likable and innocent is truly a sight to see. The entire cast does a great job. The supporting characters feel real and are fleshed out well.

A truly underrated film. It has a brilliant performance from Ryan Reynolds, in a role that is pretty unusual for him, and allows him to get out of his typical action stereotype, as he really is a great comedic and dramatic actor, when paired with the right script.
