Film Review Horror comedy is not an easy genre-mishmash to pull off, although when it’s done right (Shaun of the Dead, The Faculty), it’s usually brilliant. Unfortunately, The Voices doesn’t quite manage it.
'The Voices' is a different film without being experimental, that has a great work by Ryan Reynolds, and the rest of the characters with some weight in the plot are also at a good level.
It's a Ryan Reynolds Dark Comedy, where he plays as a man who has stopped taking his medication, which leads to his animals having voices. Little while into the movie, he accidently kills someone, and hears her voice. Drama ensues. I personally found it to be really good, and it balanced its horror and drama really well.
