Some of the fight choreography and 'wire-fu' acrobatics are wonderful and exciting, but too much of the film relies on tightly-framed quick-cut editing techniques and CGI blood spurts.

I don’t really want to get into the plot too much, because even though I hated the movie, I don’t want to give away any spoilers. That being said, the story here is a mess. It is rumored that the movie was originally shot to be four hours long, and then was cut down to 90 minutes.
