I certainly enjoy a good Gothic slow burn, which is what The Lodgers was (pretty accurately) pitched to me as. I watched The Lodgers (2017) last night and have a few thoughts/questions. Overall I thought it was decent and had some interesting imagery, especially in the last 15 minutes. It reminded me a little of Shirley Jackson's We Have Always Lived In The Castle with a hint of The Others, although it didn't live up to the latter which is an amazing movie.
