I haven't read the book yet but the movie just nails that short-ordered area of parents trying to parent while being rebellious teenagers themselves and teenagers trying on adulthood while being kids.

  6. Aug 15, 2015 · As I alluded to at the beginning of this essay, The Ice Storm is deep, as it is convoluted. It is also extremely well put together, has some terrific performances. Joan Allen and Christina Ricci really shine. It also has some phenomenal shots and motifs.
