Fortunately, THE CURSE OF BUCKOUT ROAD does not disappoint. I had an absolute blast with this well-paced and engaging film that's part dramatic psychological thriller, part supernatural mystery, and part satisfying throwback to 80s grindhouse horror.
Final Thoughts. I think this is the perfect horror thriller to watch as we tiptoe closer to Halloween. Ideally in a pitch-black room with only a slight glow from the television. The Curse of Buckout Road lands in cinemas and on VOD nationwide September 27 and I highly recommend checking it out.
