The Cleansing Hour is a 2019 American horror film directed by Damien LeVeck about a staged televised exorcism that takes a nefarious turn. The film is a feature length adaptation of a short film by the same name that LeVeck released in 2016.
Millennial entrepreneurs, Drew and Max, run a webcast that streams live exorcisms that are, in fact, elaborately staged hoaxes. But they get their comeuppance when today's actress becomes mysteriously possessed by a real demon that holds the crew hostage.
