After debris from an alien spaceship lands in the waters, great white sharks begin terrorizing marine researchers (Corin Nemec, Vanessa Angel, Corbin Bernsen) in the Pacific Ocean.
The alien matter has a strange effect on the great white sharks who live in the area; already powerful predators, soon the sharks develop a voracious taste for human flesh, and begin attacking Navy divers, with an eye on Mike, Linda, and Riley as his next entrées.
An oceanic observation station is in desperate trouble after a sudden shark attack wrecked the oxygen supply. The accompanying ship, a coast guard cruiser, and other ships in and around the Bermuda triangle are attacked as well.
