  1. I only heard of Life from an old friend who clubbed all night, drunk all day while partying, who only watched the film because it had Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal in. It's a good film, surprisingly with what actors are in it (Ryan Reynolds recently has only been in comedic films), so if people liked it, they would love Alien too.

  3. I LOVE this movie, but it does get bad rep. I think what killed it was a loooong boring conversation about life, smacked right at the height of the action. I always skip that scene now. And the ending was superb.

The alien design was a little disappointing; it suggested the creative team wanted to commit to a number of potentially interesting ideas that had come before without actually committing to them.
