Avenging Angelo is a 2002 American direct-to-video action comedy film directed by Martyn Burke and starring Sylvester Stallone, Madeleine Stowe, and Anthony Quinn. The film received mostly negative reviews.
Stallone stars as Frankie Delano, right-hand man of mob boss Angelo Allighieri (Anthony Quinn). Unable to save his boss from being whacked by an old foe, Frankie flees to the home of Angelo's daughter, Jennifer (Madeleine Stowe), who he believed will be next.

Sep 19, 2002 · Instead, he’s starring in comedy clunker “Avenging Angelo”, a significantly better film than the aforementioned action dud he starred in earlier this year – but ultimately another waste of the green stuff, and even further proof that Stallone’s career needs a definite revamp.
He has nice comedic timing and delivers on some of the more physical stuff. The chemistry is far from the best, but as for the writing, it could have been worse. Anthony Quinn is wasted in a glorified cameo.
