In a deleted scene, available on Season 2 Blu-ray, it was actually Doreah who strangled Irri to death, instead of just indirectly betraying her to her death. It must be remembered that this is from a deleted scene and thus it is not canonical and is not officially considered to have actually happened.

If anyone could have gotten into the room with Irri and the dragons, it was Doreah. That room was pretty clear of the violence taking the rest of the house; Irri seemed pretty cleanly killed comparatively, and none of the guards were inside.

What was with the tension in that scene between Doreah and Irri, it almost seemed that Irri was jealous of Dany's bond with Doreah. Or is it something else? Interesting new dynamic that was not in the books.
