Ion I. Agârbiceanu (6 January 1907 – 9 March 1971) was a Romanian physicist born in Bucium, Alba County in Transylvania. He was the son of the writer and Greek-Catholic priest Ion Agârbiceanu and his wife Maria.

Facultatea de Teologie din Budapesta (1901-1904); continua studiile universitare la Facultatea de Litere, sectia limbi clasice, istorie si romana (1904-1905). Activeaza in societatea studentesti „Salba” si „Petru Maior” din capitala Ungariei.
Biografie. Casa din Cluj în care a locuit și a lucrat Ion Agârbiceanu între 1924 - 1963. Statuia lui Ion Agârbiceanu din Cluj. A urmat studiile medii la Gimnaziul din Blaj (1892 - 1900), iar pe cele superioare la Facultatea de Teologie din Budapesta (1900 - 1904).
